Willa Buckley Wolcott

Willa Buckley Wolcott first met Kaddy Steele in 1977 when Willa and a colleague were asked to develop a Writing Center in the Office of Instructional Resources at the University of Florida, under the guidance of Kaddy Steele.  Willa admired Kaddy for her enthusiasm, dedication, caring, and zest for living, and through the years a warm friendship developed between the two.  Willa, who has done extensive academic writing, received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida  where she taught in the College of Education for several years.  Now retired, she and her husband live in Gainesville, Florida.  They enjoy traveling throughout the world and spending time with their grown children and families.
